I have started planning the 2008 24hr Podcast already and will be making some announcements here soon. That will outlay the plans. I am pretty excited as it is going to be a media event of epic proportions.
Andy McCaskey from the Slashdot Review Podcast joins me in the early morning hours on the east coast. Andy and I have a great conversation about what we have planned for the Consumer Electronics Show and some other things he has cooking over at SDR News
This is a two hour open discussion during the middle of the night, as the 24 hour podcast was rolling around. I was really worried about this segment but everyone hung tough and we had a great discussion. Thanks to all of the hard core fans. Tom Marquette was one of the fans that hung for the full 24 hours.

I am joined in this segment by Mike Smith from the Mike Tech Show and Mikes enthusiasm for the space is well known. Mike is one of the very early podcasters that joined the Tech Podcast Network and he has a terrific following of listeners. Enjoy this Segment of the 24 hour podcast.
The 24hr Podcast is about 36 hours away and I wanted to share the details of the event and talk about some expectations. I really do expect this event to be very dynamic event and have planned on being very flexible.
It should be noted while we have a number of guest scheduled this does not mean that their time slots are exclusive but are to be catalyst to help drive participation in the conversation. This event is about having a open conversation where people can connect and share information.
During this event I will focus on Technology, Science, Podcasting, New Media, Life, Family etc. Every person that attends the event and calls into the live discussion area will have time to talk
You are free to plug your shows and companies. We hope that everyone will be respectfully of each participants positions. I am also hoping that some people will live blog the event to help with what is discussed throughout the event and any nuggets that may come to light.
Guest: I ask that Scheduled Guest be dialed into the Talkcast system 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appearance. It is VERY highly recommend that you call in via Land Line if possible.
